In-Home Service Home Care Aide Training
Pre-Service Training
All prospective home care aides must complete a 24-hour pre-service training. A prospective home care aide should complete the first session with a Community Care Program supervisor. The second and third sessions are provided monthly. Please contact your Community Care Program supervisor to register to pre-service training sessions.
2020 pre-service training schedule
All of the training sessions are held in Chicago office from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Light lunch and refreshments will be provided.

In-Service Training
All home care aides must complete 12 hours of in-service training sessions in each calendar year. We provide a 3-hour in-service training session every quarter. These sessions are held in two locations—Chicago and Elmhurst. You can choose a location that is convenient to you.
